Pupil Eco-Warrior Scheme

• Established pupil-led sustainability team representing different year groups.

• Train Eco Warriors to promote practical actions such as:

  • Switching off lights and equipment

  • Reducing energy waste

  • Improving recycling and waste reduction

  • Encouraging sustainable travel

  • Monitoring classroom energy use

• Create school energy-saving challenges and inter-house competitions.

• Give pupils opportunities to present findings in assemblies, newsletters and governor meetings.

• Link activities to the curriculum, including science, geography, citizenship and numeracy.

• Recognising achievements through certificates, awards or eco-leadership opportunities.
