Solar Installation and Export Tariff
Assess the school’s roof space, electricity usage, structural suitability and grid connection requirements.
Design and install an appropriately sized solar PV system, with battery storage considered where financially and operationally beneficial.
Prioritise on-site consumption of generated electricity to reduce grid purchases.
Arrange the appropriate export agreement (SEG) so surplus electricity can be exported to the grid under an available Smart Export Guarantee or other suitable export tariff.
Monitor generation, consumption, savings and export income through an online energy dashboard.
Ensure all installation, planning, electrical and safeguarding requirements are met by appropriately accredited contractors.
